Summary Funding Statement

The Trustees must complete a formal valuation (known as the Actuarial Valuation) at least every three years to calculate the assets and cost of providing members’ benefits (liabilities).

A summary funding statement (SFS) offers a recap of the funding position of the scheme at the last valuation, as well as any changes since then.
