ESPS members
Welcome to the Uniper Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (ESPS)
The different benefit categories of the Uniper Group of the ESPS pension scheme aim to help you build up an
income for when you retire and provide financial protection for your dependants.
Although the Uniper Group of the ESPS is closed to new entrants, it remains open to members who transferred in from the E.ON Group of the ESPS in 2015 and those members can continue to build up benefits.
Defined benefit pension
The benefit categories are ‘defined benefit’ arrangements which means you do not have to make any decisions about how your contributions are invested and the Company bears the risks that investments do not perform as well as
expected.
Each year, you will receive a Benefit Statement to help you keep track of how your pension savings are building up.
You can learn more about the benefits of being in the Uniper Group of the ESPS in the Scheme booklet for your benefit category or check out the sections below for information about your membership type.
